fromthehearthJournal used to post events or subthreads for the restaurant. And for the heck of it, here's the information about the place! (Directly c/p'ed from main journal; may want to refer to the original as that one is more likely to be up to date and I'll forget this one 8Da)
"From the Hearth" is a small restaurant run and owned by Alvin and Fractured Milla Maxwell (descendend). Alvin handles the business side while Milla handles everything involving with the meals. Their "specialty" is creating meals based on other worlds, and the "goal" of the restaurant is to give everyone not only a taste of everyone's world, but to give them a little reminder, as well. In addition, it should help promote the different cultures to the locals and further help keep relations on the friendly side. (After all, what better way to get to know your neighbor than by dishing up good food?)

In addition, Alvin is keeping Jane Maxwell's spirit alive by continuing and hosting a donation box for any donations to go toward new arrivals. Help your new neighbor get their footing by donating a few sylvs or items today!

Description:
Located in the southwestern corner of Merchant's Square, just a few blocks away from the Residential District, it's situated at the corner of a not-so-bustling street with a park nearby. The building complex its part of has other stores and small grocers, giving it an ideal location to attract customers, but not too busy to get drowned out by the central city life. In terms of design, there's a lot less steampunk and a lot more Elympion touch going on here, giving it a more "modern" look. But the lighting, the floral decorations, earth tones, and hardwood tables adds a bit of a rustic touch to it. And yes those trees are there. They kind of came with the place (and probably how Alvin managed to get a decent deal out of it).
Hours:
Early lunch through dinner (11am - 8pm); open Prote through Pempte (Monday through Friday)

4 4-person booths
8 2-person tables (half booth/half table)
